I Miss You

I miss your eyes, I miss your smile, I miss your voice, I miss your style,
I miss your looks, I miss your hair, I miss you always being there,
I miss your warmth, I miss your help, I miss your calm and inner self,
I miss your charm and fairness too, I miss what you said is what you’d do,
I miss each and every day we shared, I miss your love and how much you cared,
I miss our life, I miss your ways, I miss those being together days,
I miss everything you’d say and do, I miss being close and holding you,
I miss you in a million ways, I’ll miss you till my dying day.

Broken Heart

The moment that you passed away my heart was torn in two,
one side filled with heartache, but the other died with you.

I often lie awake at night, when the world is fast asleep,
and take a walk down memory lane, with tears upon my cheeks.

Remembering you is easy, I do it everyday,
but missing you is heartache that will never go away.

I hold you tightly in my heart and there you will remain
until the day I’m with you and hold you in my arms again.

Our Loved Ones

Too all our loved ones we have lost,
only our tears can count the cost.
Mother, brother, sister, son,
you mean so much to everyone.
We hold you in our hearts so dear,
life’s not the same without you here.
So we struggle through another day,
we carry on we find a way.
The thought that helps to ease the pain,
is holding you in our arms again.

Cry For Me

Cry for me if cry you must,
but place your faith and all your trust,
in the fact that now I am set free,
from pain and hurt and adversity.

I am sorry but now it’s time to part,
and I know you have a heavy heart,
but please believe me when I say,
I sure we’ll meet again someday.

I didn’t want to leave you yet,
but there’s one thing I won’t forget,
the love we shared throughout the years,
so let me go and dry your tears.

Remember the good times that we had,
it'll lift your heart when you are sad,
I’ll be by you side you won’t be alone,
and when it’s time I'll welcome you home.

Come With Me

God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you
and whispered ‘come with me’.
With tearful eyes we watched you,
we watched you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
Your precious heart stopped beating,
hard working hands now rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
he only takes the best.
